A national exposition of the Republic of Belarus is represented at the fourth China International Import Exhibition (CIIE), which opened on 4 November in Shanghai.
The exposition is organised by the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry
The exhibition operator is the Belinterexpo exhibition enterprise of the BelCCI.
The exposition includes food and IT companies as well as ministries, medical, scientific and research institutions and universities displaying products and services that may be in demand among Chinese consumers.
The largest stand in the national pavilion is that of the Belarusian State Food Industry Concern Belgospischeprom
It presents the products of 16 producers of confectionery, alcoholic, brewing, sugar and canned products. The national exposition also includes the companies Baymen Biotechnology, Beltamozhservice, and Exon.
The Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus, including state universities; the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, including a number of scientific institutes and scientific-production organizations; and the State Committee for Science and Technology offer services to Chinese partners.
Domestic companies participate in the National Exposition of the Republic of Belarus at the CIIE 2021 exhibition in a remote format.
It involves the work in Shanghai of Belinterexpo employees of BelCCI, who, in case Chinese visitors are interested in the products or services of Belarusian companies, connect the parties via video link.
In this way, full-fledged business negotiations are ensured at a time convenient for the participants in advance.
In addition, a 3D virtual stand of the Republic of Belarus is available for online visitors until 10 November inclusive.
Emphasis is placed on the investment attractiveness of Belarus, a favourable business climate, world-famous companies working in Minsk and other cities, rich cultural traditions, the tourism sector, and successes in sports.
The IT sector, the process of realizing the transit potential of the smart platform, as well as individual sectors: agriculture, mechanical engineering, and wood processing are described in detail.
