The stand of the Belarusian products will be presented for the first time at the Middle East and North Africa region's main natural and organic fair Middle East Organic and Natural Product Expo Dubai (MENOPE) to be held on 6-8 December.
"The organic and natural products segment is showing steady growth in the Middle East and North Africa region. Experts predict that imports of organic and natural cosmetics in this region will reach $5 billion in 2022, while imports of organic food and beverages will reach $18.42 billion. People are paying increasing attention to the composition and health impact of the food and cosmetic products they and their families use. In addition, Dubai's status as a key site for re-export to many other countries and regions makes the MENOPE exhibition even more attractive and impactful," said Belinterexpo.
MENOPE showcases prepared foods and food ingredients, health and beauty products, fast-moving consumer goods and agricultural technology. The fair will be attended by 250 companies from 48 countries. National pavilions will be presented by Armenia, Austria, Georgia, Greece, India, Iran, Italy, Latvia, New Zealand, Russia, Spain and Thailand. The exhibition will be visited by 14,000 niche buyers and 600 VIP buyers.
Throughout the exhibition days, there will be seminars and conferences on organic farming, healthy eating, medicine and wellness, and organic beverages. The Organic Super Kitchen will be open non-stop, offering master classes on cooking with natural ingredients. The Beauty Lounge will demonstrate eco-cosmetic make-up, and the farmers' market will offer visitors the opportunity to buy fresh products.
"Food exhibitions in the UAE traditionally demonstrate high performance for Belarusian companies. For example, the work of Belarusian companies at the Gulfood exhibition in Dubai in February 2021 resulted in contracts worth $7 million. Belarusian companies signed export agreements with partners from Bangladesh, Egypt, Ghana, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Syria, UAE, and Yemen. And after participating in the Yammex exhibition in Dubai in November 2021, Belarusian companies signed 11 export agreements," Belinterexpo added.
