MINSK, 29 September (BelTA) – Belarusian and Chinese scientists are going to intensify cooperation as part of joint projects in medicine, information technology, mechanical engineering, environmental protection and energy conservation.

The volume of bilateral trade in 2020 consisted of USD 287.1 million (decreased by 18.1% compared to 2019). Exports amounted to USD 20.5 million (increased by 23%), imports - USD 266.6 million (decreased by 20.1%). The balance was negative in the amount of 246.1 million US dollars. The increase in Belarusian exports excluding the volume of oil, petroleum products, petroleum gases and other gaseous hydrocarbons, nitrogenous and potassium fertilisers amounted to 22.6%.
