The Economy Ministry hosted a video conference with representatives of the Korea Development Institute (KDI) on the launch of the third stage of project activities under the Knowledge Sharing Program (KSP) 2021-2022.
The project provides for studying the existing practice of interaction between the government and business in Belarus in the issues related to digital development of the national economy and the preparation of recommendations for its improvement taking into account the Korean experience.
Korea's recommendations are supposed to help develop a mechanism to involve the business community of Belarus into the process of preparing and taking decisions for large-scale digital transformation of the real sector and formation of the domestic smart industry.
The parties agreed on a schedule of KSP project activities for 2021-2022 and emphasized the need to select a professional team of researchers from the Korea Development Institute and high-level national experts from Belarus for the successful implementation of the project.
The meeting marked the start of new project activities between the Economy Ministry and the Korea Development Institute under the knowledge sharing program. According to the agreement on the schedule of events, the kick-off workshop of the KSP project for 2021-2022 is scheduled for November 2021.
