At the Gulfood food fair in Dubai, Belarusian companies agreed to supply products to 20 countries.
Dubai has hosted the world's largest food exhibition, Gulfood, attended by more than 4,000 companies from 120 countries. Belarus presented its national pavilion at this prestigious international platform for the seventh year in a row.
As a result of the participation, domestic enterprises agreed to supply their products to distributors and wholesale buyers from various countries around the world. In particular, Agrokombinat Dzerzhinsky agreed to supply poultry meat to Qatar, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and the UAE, and its subsidiary, 1st Minsk Poultry Factory, to supply chicken eggs to Africa and the Emirate of Dubai. The company Molochny Mir has supplied butter to the European Union, while the Lida Dairy Canned Milk Plant has supplied skimmed milk powder to the Emirate of Dubai and the Republic of Korea, and whole milk powder to Azerbaijan.
Importers from Bangladesh, Kuwait, the UAE, the USA, Saudi Arabia, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, and the Philippines are interested in the dairy products exhibited in Belarus. Negotiations have been held on deliveries of finished products to major UAE retail chains.
In the near future, Belarus will exhibit at major food and multifunctional exhibitions in Uzbekistan, Vietnam, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Qatar, Serbia, Kenya, etc.
