Foreign tourists from 73 countries will be able to visit Belarus under a visa-free regime during the Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk festival.
The visa-free regime will be valid from July 4 to 24 and the festival itself will take place from July 14 to 17. Tourists will have to present tickets or an official invitation to the festival in order to enter the country without a visa. Foreign nationals and stateless persons will also be exempt from the state fee for registering a temporary stay.
Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk is an annual international arts festival that has been held in Vitebsk since 1992. Besides competitions, the festival features not only song culture, but also a variety of arts - fine arts, theatre, cinema, folk crafts. The festival days include creative meetings with various actors of world culture, presentations of theatrical performances and films, art exhibitions and fairs with the participation of master-craftsmen.
